Wow, so many of you participated in yesterday’s Readers En-Gauge question! Summer is on its way so it was so fun reading about all the projects everyone is planning on making, or already has made! Don’t forget that every Monday, we’re giving away a prize to one lucky reader!
It’s so easy to enter for a chance to be the winner, all you need to do is answer the question in the Comments Section below this post. Yesterday’s question was:
What’s your favorite item to knit or crochet for the summer?
Congratulations to…
Deborah who said, “Doilies are my main thing during the summer. It’s humid as all get-out from Easter to Halloween and my hands sweat so much that yarn just sticks to my fingers. Bedspread cotton becomes my best friend when it’s hot!”
Congrats!

anything andn everything. i live up in the mtns so it’s cool! I get to knit whatever I want year round. Currently I’m knitting a Cable and Lace baby blanket for my newest grandson who is due Aug 31.
Usually I crochet a new afghan for the winter to come and in between a new scarf or hat for myself to start off my winter attire
This year I’m teaching myself how to knit by weaving and knit other than a scarf I want to be able to design my own piece of clothing or accessory . I love the art of yarning
A crocheted, or knit ( could be double thick or lined) bikini is terrific and quick to make for summer. Just make two triangles for the top, connecting them with matching cords of the same yarn. Pretty much ditto for the bottom, with a slight addition or adjustment for the crotch. Voila! Dawn
