What is your favorite part about Easter?
I have always loved rabbits, duckies, chicks and all of the other precious themes of spring. It always reminded me of Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit.
I really enjoy creating Easter baskets for my family, I include something I made for each of them. This year all my children want personalized sock monkeys. I have finished 3, have one on the needles, and one to be made. I really like the filet bunny afghan. I think I will make one for the next baby in our family.
My favorite thing about easter is my Moms home cooking and her made-from-scratch pies. MMmmmmm… one and a half more weeks to go =D
I have a little granddaughter 4 years old that resides in England with her mum and dad. I made this filet crochet bunny blanket. It turned out good except the top ended up bigger/wider than the bottom. Every time I make an afghan/blanket like this, I end up adding stitches along the way. Maybe the next one I make won’t end up lopsided!!
Easter to me means summer is on its way, we always went into our school summer uniform at Easter and I still swop my winter clothes for summer clothes this time of year.
