Hello there, fellow yarnies! It’s the end of the month again. Do you know what that means? It means it’s time for us to once again collect the most popular patterns from the month and share them with you. I know you’ve been waiting all month in anticipation for this monthly round-up, so let’s get right to it!
This month, vintage afghans reigned supreme. Just to name a few, the California Ranch Afghan (below left) and the Colonial Charm Afghan (below right) were both popular choices among our subscribers. Both of these afghans are sure to add just the right touch of vintage to your home decor.
Animal themed afghans were also popular this month. If the family pooch is in need of a new cuddle blanket, why not crochet the Paw Print Afghan Square? This adorable crochet granny square (below left) would make a great dog blanket! Just be sure to use durable yarn that’s made of cotton for easy cleaning! The Paw Print Square could also be made for humans, too Other animal-themed afghan favorites were the Pretty Butterfly Square (below center), and Crochet Butterfly Blanket (below right).
Some other popular projects from this past month include the Color me Crayon Blanket, which is perfect to make for the little kid in your life! Crochet baby blanket patterns were also a bit hit in April, as always! The two most popular baby blanket patterns included the Coziest Crocheted Baby Blanket, and the Pink Baby Blanket. If you or someone you know has a baby on the way, these baby blanket afghan patterns are great for babies to snuggle with! They make great baby shower gifts, too. Buying gifts from baby registries can be so impersonal. Why not make the mom-to-be something unique and special? She’ll love getting a homemade gift that’s sure to be treasured for years!
