  1. I’m a beginner so I’d love to learn how to make different afghans.

  2. Though I would love to crochet an afghan every two weeks…it’s not likely that I could work that fast. I don’t crochet for speed, I crochet to relax. When I crochet, my mind wanders to thinking about who I’m making it for…a friend, a new baby, someone needing to be comforted, a teen, a newly married couple, someone getting their first home, someone who lost their home in a fire. Making afghans for people I care about gives me a feeling of being closer to them…of wrapping them in a big hug!

If they were simple enough, probably. I love to make afghans and have them on hand for any occasion needing a gift.

To quote Char55 ~~ “Though I would love to crochet an afghan every two weeks…it’s not likely that I could work that fast. I don’t crochet for speed, I crochet to relax. When I crochet, my mind wanders ~~”

I also crochet to relax ~~ and while I’ve been told that I crochet “fast” ~ to me it seems like I’m very slow. Regardless, I love to crochet and in the past 12 months I have crocheted four afghans with matching pillows ~ completed two afghans that I started YEARS ago ~ and currently have two WIP afghans that I hope to complete shortly !

And I simply would LOVE to have this book ~~ so wish me luck !!!!

  6. I’ve done baby blankets in a week, but I think I’d need a little more than 2 weeks for a regular afghan because sometimes my hand gets tired. Hope to win the book!

  7. most definitely i would make lots of afghans.i could do them in months by the birthstone.lots of possibilities

  8. Shirley Valvo says:

I wish I could crochet an afghan every two weeks. Then I could make enough for the 8 kids and 9 grandkids. I would certainly try!

  9. Elaine Sue Dworkin says:

As I work part-time and have many hours in-between actual ‘work’, I would love to have this book!!! —perhaps not be able to crochet one every two weeks, but you never know, lol.

  10. I would sure give it a try. I love to knit and as a new crocheter, this would be perfect to fill in my time.

  11. What a beautiful book! I would love to win a copy of it but the entry form won’t open. So hopefully these comments are the entry, thank you!

  12. Nancy Lindenback says:

You bet I would. I am tired of just granny squares so need some inspiration for fancier squares and really want to learn how to make a ripple blanket
