Have loved crocheting since I was 9 years old. Now I’m almost 49, due to failing eyesight I crochet mostly by feel now. It is still my favorite thing to do.

One of my goals for the year is to learn a stitch called the Catherine Wheel. I think there are other names for it too. It’s really pretty and looks complicated, but I definitely want to learn it. I also want to learn which yarns go best with which stitches. There have been a few times where I learned after the fact that a variegated yarn or a self striping yarn look weird in a certain stitch. I want to get better at identifying that too!
