PinExt Crochet Squares...and Beyond! New Book Giveaway!

crochet motifs small Crochet Squares...and Beyond! New Book Giveaway!Crochet motifs are wonderful for so many crochet projects. When I picked up this Beyond The Square Crochet Motifs, I was like a kid in a candy store. As soon as I saw “144 circles, hexagons, triangles, squares, and other unexpected shapes” on the cover, I was hooked. The entire book is categorized by the shapes which makes this book user friendly when searching for specific patterns. I paged through the book looking at the detailed pictures and helpful charts for each motif and imagining all of the crochet projects that could use these motifs.

Seriously though – I might have trouble giving this book away. I want to keep it for myself! There are so many motifs I want to try…the winner of this book will be very lucky! I’ll have to go purchase my own at some point…

motifs binding Crochet Squares...and Beyond! Each page has a different motif with an image, a chart, special stitch instructions, and a written pattern. It doesn’t get any easier than this folks.

Speaking of easy, the introduction to this book is great for beginners who are just venturing into the world of crocheting. There is a whole Crochet Vocabulary section that explains everything you need to know before you begin to read patterns. That means there are no surprises when you pick up your hook to start a pattern and you can always go back and look at the vocabulary section.
